This years theme "Crazy Hats & Hair" FAC will have a booth where you can let your creativity go wild and build your own hat to wear in the parade.
Forbestown Daze! Come spend the day in Forbestown when the whole town celebrates. There will be musicians playing at our barn and the outlaws may rob the Wells Fargo Office. We will have gold milling and panning exhibits for you to try. Plus we will have baked goods to buy and food sold in our pantry. You might pick up a bargain or two at the flea market. The Sheriff of Gold Trader Flat will be sworn in.
In addition to the museum festivities, the park will have vendors galore, a choice of mexican food or BBQ pork sandwiches.
You couldn't find a more pleasant place to spend the first day of August, it is usually a good 10 degrees cooler under the majestic pine trees of our park.
