Adult Softball: Spring, Fall & Winter Leagues
Ready, set, play ball! Join us at Nelson Sports Complex and participate in our adult sports softball league. Leagues are composed of Men’s and Coed divisions. Teams play one night per week, and are guaranteed a total of 8 games depending on the season. Teams are required to register by the deadline and pay in full. Teams that do not register by the deadline will only be able to participate if there is room in the leagues. Winners of the division will have a choice to receive a 10% discount toward the next season or a trophy. All managers are required to attend the mandatory managers meetings (failing to do so can result in removal from the league).
Short players? We have an active free agent list with a handful of male and female players who are looking to join a team (and they are willing to pitch in on registration cost) if your team needs players please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get their contact information.
1. No glass bottles out at the fields, if you team is found guilty you will be asked to leave.
2. Home teams must keep the book as listed in the rules.
Free agents: If interested in adding a free agent to your team email Nina (email@example.com) as we have several players looking to join teams.

How does the registration process work?
Once you have found enough players to form a team, register your team at the Activity Center (1875 Feather River Blvd.) or online by following ‘Register Here” button. Next, review the league rules, check the date for the managers meeting and pick up a roster (or print one from the link above) and turn in a complete roster on or before your first game. Rosters can be turned in at the Activity Center or onsite at your first game.
Free Agent: Don’t have enough players to form a team but still looking to play?
Email Recreation Supervisor Nina at firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know that you are looking to be put on the free agent list. You will need to include what league you are interested in joining and your rate your skill level on a scale of 1 to 3 (1 being ok, 2-average 3-above average player). If you are unsure what division you want to play in, show up to the league games on the first night of the season and checkout the games/leagues to determine where you would be a good fit.
No packet will need to be picked up and turned in. A complete roster should be turned in onsite at your first game (see above for link to roster). In order to hold your teams spot in the league you will need to register and pay by the league registration deadline. If you are not registered by registration deadline your team will not be able to participate.
