Riverbend Park Restoration

RIVERBEND PARK RESTORATION PROJECT

RE: RIVERBEND PARK

DATE: JULY 3, 2017

The Feather River Recreation and Park District will be reopening RIVERBEND PARK for limited use!

RIVERBEND PARK is scheduled to open for limited use beginning Tuesday, July 4th. We are pleased to announce through partnership and collaborative efforts that walking paths, pavilions, the boat ramp, and sections of the disc golf course will be accessible, though many of the disc golf baskets have not yet been replaced. As a reminder the park utilities are not operational. Porter potties have been placed at the site for public use. Park signage is posted alerting park visitors of uneven terrain, non-operable utilities and closed sections. We ask park visitors to keep in mind that the park restoration has not taken place yet. In the future the entire park or sections will be closed temporarily for restoration. We encourage you to enjoy Riverbend Park beginning July 4th. Please remember NO FIREWORKS allowed in District parks including Riverbend Park. Park hours are dawn to dusk.
