Track & Field (K-8th Grade)
Looking for something to keep your child active? Then join us for our wonderful track and field program! Participants will be split up by gender and age; depending on amount of participants some grades may be combined. All meets are to be held at Harrison Stadium, each division will have three regular meets and one ribbon meet (subject to change). Divisions will be: K-4th graders and 5-8th graders. There will be individual and team events. Participants have the option to sign up through their school and be a member of the school team, sign up to be a part of the FRRPD team or sign up to be a free agent. Please contact your school directly to see if they are participating (typically this is run through after school programs).
All meets are to be held at Harrison Stadium.

School Team Volunteers: Every school must provide 3 volunteers per meet. This volunteer can be an assistant coach, parents, young adult, etc. Volunteers will help coordinate the event by timing runners, measuring distances for field events and helping get participants get ready for their race.
Free Agent: There is no practice or coaching provided for free agents. Please reference above meet dates, meets will start at 4:00 PM. Free agents need to show up 15 minutes prior to the start of the meet and check-in to receive their number.

K-4th participants are eligible to compete in any event (plus a relay race) of their choice,the final meet will be a ribbon meet for 1st-3rd places all other will get a participation ribbon.
Events: 50, 100 & 200 meter dash, long jump, softball throw
Relay Race: 100 meters
Event Details: 5-8th
5-8th graders are eligible to compete in any event (plus relay race) of their choice, the final meet will be a ribbon meet for 1st-3rd places all other will get a participation ribbon.
Events: Running Events: 100, 200, 400 meters & 1 mile
Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put
Relay Race: 100 meters
