The Benefit Assessment District (BAD) was an approved committee by voters in 2002 to help fund park improvements and maintenance. The Oversight Committee is comprised of five members each appointed by the FRRPD Board of Directors to serve for a term of four years. the Committee meets at least twice per year, but no more than four times per year to monitor the Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement budget and make recommendations related to the use of BAD funds.
To be eligible to serve :
1. You must own property in the District
2. You must be at least 18 years of age
3. You must reside within the boundaries of the Feather River Recreation and Park District
Interested individuals may contact FRRPD at (530) 533-2011 to request and submit an application packet or visit the District office located at 1875 Feather River Boulevard in Oroville.
