Thermalito Family Center (Nelson Pool)

The renovation of Nelson Pool has been successfully completed, bringing significant improvements to this valued community facility. Upgrades include a newly resurfaced pool, new pool decking, fencing, shade structures, slides, diving boards, and an interactive splash play area featuring characters inspired by our local swim team mascot.
Throughout the year, Nelson Pool serves community members and local organizations by hosting private events, water safety classes, swim competitions, and a variety of recreational programs. The renovation project was made possible through funding provided by a grant awarded by the Supplemental Benefits Fund Committee in Oroville, California.
Nelson Pool now offers Daily Public Swim, Group and Private Swim Lessons, Lifeguard Training Classes, and Private Rentals, providing a safe, modern, and welcoming space for residents of all ages to enjoy.
