JUNIOR GIANTS 

Junior Giants is a FREE, non-competitive, co-ed, baseball league that focuses on life skills using baseball as a vessel. Through each child’s experiences as part of a team, they will learn the Four Bases of Character Development – Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork – and the importance of education, health and bullying prevention, and respect.

When does the 2025 Junior Giants Registration Open?
April, 1 2025

How do I register? 
Please go to gojrgiants.org and click the “registration now open” banner. This will bring you to a league map where you can find a league that is closest to you. When you find a league please click the “Register Here” link under the league name. You will then have to create an MLB account under your name and then register your child under the same account. Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or require further assistance!

What are the age requirements?

The minimum age in most leagues is 5 years old by 7/1. The max age in most leagues is 13. The age divisions are typically 5-6, 7-9 and 10-13. More information is provided on gojrgiants.org.

Opening Day Ceremony | June 19, 2024 | Vorhees Field - Nelson Sports Complex | 5:00p

Closing Ceremony |August 7, 2024 | Snack Bar Area - Nelson Sports Complex | 7:30p at approximately 7:30 p.m.

 All players should attend to get their final incentive of the season!   We will be handing out also Small T-Junior Giants shirts, water bottles, and recognizing the Willie Mac award winners.

Harmon & Sue Burns Scholarship | Deadline July 14, 2024| Application

*Do you have a child entering 8th grade? If so, they’re eligible to apply for the Harmon & Sue Burns Scholarship! Every year the Giants Community Fund selects (10) incoming 8th graders from across all Junior Giants leagues to receive a $10,000 scholarship and personalized jersey upon graduation from high school (as well as special events and Giants tickets along the way!)
