Feather River Recreation and Park District is proud to offer our facilities, parks, and pools for YOUR enjoyment! If you are interested in reserving any FRRPD sites please click the button below or call the District Office at (530) 533-2011. Park pavilions not reserved for the day are available on a first-come/first-served basis.

Reservation Insurance Requirements

Beginning July 1st, 2024, all reservations for group picnic areas, pavilions, ball fields, pools, and indoor facilities will require an insurance policy. All individuals, groups, or organizations renting FRRPD facilities will obtain a certificate of liability insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, naming the District as co-insured with an additional insured endorsement. 

This MUST include:  

  1. Certificate of Insurance listing Feather River Recreation and Park District as additionally Insured as listed: Feather Recreation & Park District, Its Directors, Officers, Agents, Volunteers, and Employees, 1875 Feather River Blvd. Oroville, CA 95965
  2.  Subrogation or Waiver of Rights: "Contractor hereby grants to Entity a waiver of any right to subrogation which any insurer of said Contractor may acquire against the Entity by virtue of the payment of any loss under such insurance. Contractor agrees to obtain any endorsement that may be necessary to affect this waiver of subrogation. This is a required document for all reservations."
  3. Primary & Non-Contributory- Other Insurance Conditions  We do not need the Whole Policy.

Palermo Park, Nelson Sports Complex, Nelson Pool, Riverbend Park, MLK Park, Playtown USA, Nolan Baseball Complex, and Forbestown.
Insurance requirements can include: Certificate of Liability Insurance with FRRPD listed as additionally insured, Subrogation or Waiver of Rights, Primary & Non-Contributory certificate, and Alcohol Liability Insurance (if applicable).
Reservation fees may include site rental rate and refundable cleaning deposit. *Please be aware that any payments made for insurance will go directly to the insurance company providing coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

The District's insurance provider, CAPRI, has required that all Districts require Certificates of Insurance for Facility reservations. Liability insurance is required holding FRRPD harmless for all reservations. Other Districts, such as Paradise Recreation and Park District have begun enforcing this requirement as well.
A current Certificate of Liability Insurance with FRRPD listed as additionally insured, Subrogation or Waiver of Rights, Primary & Non-Contributory certificate, and Alcohol Liability Insurance (if applicable) must be received by Feather River Recreation and Park District at least ten (10) business days before the reservation date.

Yes. All bouncer toys brought into the park for public use require a certificate naming the District as additional insured. This certificate must be received by the District no later than 10 days prior to the event or the equipment will not be allowed in the park. Also, please remind the company to bring the required generator for the bouncer as our outlets cannot support the power needed to run it..
No. In order to insure the continued beauty of our lawns and other park features, and to ensure the health and safety of all park users, we do not allow slip and slides in District parks.
No. There is no public water source available for use. Please call the District Office at (530) 533-2011 with any questions.
Yes. Pavilions do have electricity access. Please do not utilize pavilion electricity to power bounce houses.
Yes. An Alcohol Request Form and Alcohol Use Agreement will need to be signed. Alcohol Liability Insurance will also be required.
