Sensei Ronnie began his karate training with his teacher, Grandmaster William Louie, in Queens, New York in 1985. He became an assistant instructor in 1987. Sensei moved to Butte County in 1998, and established his first dojo in Paradise in year 2000. Thus, his style of karate is called Goju-Ryu 2000.
In 2012 Sensei Ronnie began teaching at FRRPD, and has taught there continuously since. He teaches every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30-8:00 pm (visit the Martial Arts page for speciific ages).
Sensei is currently a sixth degree black belt, and now lives in Chico with his wife Karen and bunny Lucy!
